Saif X Kareena X Vanga
Recently, it was revealed that Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are coming together for a big pan-Indian project, and it’s none other than Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, starring Prabhas in the leading role. According to reports, both Kareena and Saif will be playing important roles in the film.
New Heights for Alia
Alia Bhatt to star in a love story after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War. She will also be producing the film under her banner Eternal Sunshine Productions. Expected to go on floors in the last quarter of 2025.
Karan Johar’s OTT Debut
After Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar is now all set to debut on OTT as a director. According to reports, he will be directing a mega-budget web series for Netflix. The cast hasn’t been revealed yet, and filming is set to begin in the 1st quarter of 2025.

Fawad Khan’s Comeback
After a long break, Fawad Khan is finally returning to Bollywood with a romantic comedy-drama film, starring Vaani Kapoor and Ridhi Dogra. The entire film will be shot at international locations.

Barring these updates, there has been a lot of developments regarding various other projects as well.
- Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies and Randeep Hooda’s Swatantrya Veer Savarkar become India’s official entry to the Oscars 2025.
- Ali Abbas Zafar files complaint against producer Vashu Bhagnani for not paying dues worth ₹7.3 Cr.
- Vashu Bhagnani has filed complaint against Ali Abbas Zafar for siphoning off money earned from subsidy from Abu Dhabi.
- Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Santoshi are reuniting for a film tentatively titled Char Din Ki Zindagi.
- CBFC demands 120 cuts for Diljit Dosanjh’s upcoming film Punjab ‘95 and also requests a title change.
- Sidharth Malhotra is in talks with Panchayat director Deepak Mishra for a film based on an Indian folklore, similar to Kantara. If all goes well, shooting may start by the end of 2025.
- Stree 2 becomes the first Hindi film to cross ₹600 Cr nett collection in Hindi language.
- Race 4 will not be a reboot but will continue the story from Race 1 and 2, excluding Race 3 from the storyline.
- Jaideep Ahlawat is set to play the antagonist in The Family Man Season 3.
- Taapsee to play the leading lady opposite Akshay Kumar in Tiranga, directed by Sanjay Puran Singh.
- Ranveer Singh to play a Sikh character in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar.
Shoots – Kya Shuru Kya Khatam
- The team of Housefull 5 is currently shooting in London.
- It’s a wrap for the Udaipur schedule of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
- The team of The Family Man 3 is currently shooting in Nagaland.

- Jigra trailer out now and all set for a grand theatrical release on 11th October.
- Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 teaser out now, set for a grand Diwali release.
- Tumbbad is releasing soon in US theatres.
- Be Happy, starring Abhishek Bachchan is going to be a direct OTT movie on Prime Video.
- CTRL, starring Ananya Panday trailer out now and streaming on Netflix from 4th October.
- The Sabarmati Report to Release in Theatres on 15th November 2024
