Heyy Babyy The House Is Getting Full!

The Heyy Babyy trio of Akshay Kumar – Riteish Deshmukh – Fardeen Khan will be seen reuniting in the upcoming movie Housefull 5. Fardeen Khan is the latest addition to the movie and he bags the role for which Arjun Rampal was in consideration. The movie also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Nana Patekar and Sanjay Dutt. Casting of female leads is underway and the filming begins in August 2024. All set for June 6 2025 release.

Ek Aur Remake?

As per a report from Bollywood Hungama, Akshay Kumar will be seen in the remake of the much loved patriotic film from 1993, Tirangaa. The original starred Nana Patekar and Raaj Kumar in the lead roles. It is the story of a brigadier and a cop who attempt to bring down a dreaded terrorist. Information regarding the director is still unknown.

Kriti Ke Ishk Mein Raanjhanaa Samachar This Week

Kriti Sanon is in talks to play the female lead in Anand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein alongside Dhanush. Earlier, it was reported that Tripti Dimri has been roped in which however is not the case. Like Abhay Deol in Raanjhanaa, this film will also have a third male lead, casting for which is underway. The Ranjhanaa sequel is expected to go on floors in October 2024.

King Main Entry

Abhay Verma has joined the cast of King alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. He will be having a key role in the movie. The team is aiming to start filming by November 2024.

Highlights of the Week [Samachar This Week]

Barring these updates, there has been a lot of developments regarding various other projects as well.

1. Stree 2 will be releasing a day early, i.e on 14th August with special screenings from 7.30 pm all across India.
   
2. Shaitaan 2 is in the works and currently in the scripting stage.
   
3. As per reports, Aamir Khan could star in Rajkumar Santoshi’s next.
   
4. After wrapping up Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, director Anees Bazmee will begin casting for the 7 female leads in No Entry 2.
   
5. A set of Welcome 3 has been destroyed by rain which has halted its shoot.
   
6. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 teaser has passed certification and is expected to be released soon.
   
7. Rajkummar Rao and Manushi Chillar will be seen sharing screen space for an untitled film directed by Bhakshak director, Pulkit.
   
8. Raid 2 has been postponed to early 2025
   
9. Ayushmann Khurrana has refused to be a part of Border 2 due to unsurity regarding his positioning in the film.
   
10. Ayushmann Khurrana has also walked out of Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra due to scheduling conflicts.
    
11. Madhuri Dixit will be playing a serial killer in a web series titled Mrs Deshpande.

Shoots – Kya Shuru Kya Khatam

1. Filming for Toxic starring Yash has begun.
   
2. A new schedule for Prabhas’ The Rajasaab has begun in Hyderabad.
   
3. An action sequence for the climax of Pushpa 2 is ongoing.
   
4. Shoot for the outdoor portions of Kantara 2 is completed and 15-20 days of indoor shoot is left.
   
5. Prashant Neel directorial titled Dragon starring Jr.Ntr is expected to go on floors in first week of September.
   
6. Shoot for Lahore 1947 will conclude with the most ambitious train sequence of the partition era over a period of several weeks.
   
7. Sidharth Malhotra is currently shooting for his upcoming movie titled Mitti.
   
8. Badtameez Gill has wrapped filming.
   

New Releases, Release Dates and Announcements

1. Ananya Panday starrer CTRL which will be directed by Vikramaditya Motwane has been announced to release on Netflix on 4th October 2024.
   
2. 6 new posters for Godachari 2 have been released.
   
3. A new trailer for Martin has been released.

1. Deadpool and Wolverine all set to breach the billion mark by the end of this weekend.
   
2. The director’s cut of Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon has been released on Netflix.
