“Dada Kishan Ki Jai“
Teaser Overview
120 Bahadur teaser 2 tries to set up an emotional note with the audience, but is it exciting enough for people to buy the tickets? Let’s discuss.

Job Of A Teaser/Trailer
A teaser or trailer is supposed to be a short promo that has two jobs particularly. One is to let the audience know what the film is about – the genre, the kind of story it is, a glimpse of the characters, idea of the conflict, the journey and the tone of the film.
The other job is to excite the audience enough to make them watch it. If it is ott then its still easier, but in this day and age, if it is theatrical, then there is a lot on the audience, right from time and money to the effort they have to make to go to the theatres. So why would they go to the theatre? Only one reason, that they actually want to go, if they are excited for the theatrical experience. Do the two 120 Bahadur teasers excite the audience enough? Not me, atleast.

The Cut
Both the teaser cuts are average at best. The latest one tries to emphasise on the sacrifice made by the soldiers, and the song Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon by Lata Mangeshkar.
While that part is very well shown and we feel the emotion, along with the title cards of Parakram, Deshbhakti and Balidan, there is still something missing. The second part of the teaser feels much like the first part only, with some new and some older shots.

Farhan Akhtar
Farhan Akhtar has always been a good actor and is loved by most people. He looks good in the film. And in the comments too everywhere I’ve seen people say that they have trust in him and thus from the film.
Still, the film does not promises anything out of the box or never seen before.

Why Out Of The Box?
We get a minimum of one theatrical release every week for the whole year, whether it is Bollywood, Hollywood, Tollywood or any anywhere. That is a minimum of 52 films. And they come out on ott in 4-8 weeks, so more or less people watch those later, if not in theatres.
Now there is ott which has so much content for the whole year, right from all over India, to Hollywood, South Korea and Japan. I’m talking about how people have started watching more of Hollywood stuff like Stranger Things, Wednesday, apart from the movies, popular Korean shows like Squid game to he lesser popular K-dramas. Then people also watch anime, so much so that a theatrical movie like Demon Slayer, Infnity Castle also slayed at the box office.
While these numbers may still be less, what I’m trying to say that people are getting exposed to so many different and better stuff, where most of them are available online at cheaper rates. So people want to see better content now. Watching films is neither the top priority, nor it is the only form if entertainment like few decades ago. I, myself watch atleast 200 pieces of content every year. So tell me, why would I watch something that does not excite me?

Release Time and Risk
The film may be good, but I’m only saying that the marketing is not selling the movie. The teaser cuts and tone could have been way better. There is not one single thing in the teasers that people will make posts about and talk online. And believe it or not, it does matter today.
120 Bahadur is releasing on 21st November 2025, clashing with Masti 4. Not saying Masti 4 will pose a big challenge but just talking about the sharing of screens.
Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyaar De 2 is scheduled for 14 November as of now. If they change it then its one thing, but if they don’t they it will also be in theatre sharing screens in its second week.
On 29 November 2025, Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer Tere Ishk Mein is releasing. That mean’s, 120 Bahadur will never have a free run. It has very limited time and scope to earn big numbers.
In such a scenario, now you tell me how important is movie marketing?
Also, are you excited enough to buy the tickets and go to the theatres for this film?

Final Thoughts
I have a feeling that the film would be nice. But the two teasers were quite average for me. Ab trailer aur songs ka wait hai. Lakshya ke gaane acche the. Iss film ke gaane impactful nahi hue toh fir risk aur badh jayega.

Let me know in the comments what you feel about this teaser 2.
