BLOODBATH-BLOODSHED
Since the start of the HIT franchise in 2020, I’m following all the films. No doubt I liked all the three parts, but HIT 3 felt different from the others. Let’s find out why now. HIT, first and second Case were outstanding thrillers with excellent story writing also. But something went wrong in the Third Case.
At first i was watching this movie in Telugu but same issue happened, i stepped into cinema hall and there were no subtitles in the original language then suddenly a show gets listed in Hindi language and i went for it.
Before Starting the Review
Spoiler Warning – This review might contain spoilers. If you don’t want to spoil your theatrical experience, I would suggest you skip to the verdict section directly.

HIT 3 Ka Plot
Arjun Sarkaar, played by Nani, is a HIT cop who’s transferred to Vizag, and there’s a very violent reason behind that transfer. Now, Arjun is assigned to investigate the case of a 9-month-old child who’s been kidnapped. It’s now Arjun’s responsibility to bring that child back.
While searching for the child, Arjun comes to know that multiple killings are happening across India, and people are uploading videos of these killings on the dark web. Arjun himself gets involved in a killing—but there’s a reason behind it. I won’t spoil that moment for you.
Arjun goes behind a killing cartel called CTK (Capture, Torture, Kill). That’s how this time Arjun is going to solve the case. The plot is very basic—not a high-level film. Hit First and Second Case stories were better than the Third Case.

HIT 3 Ka Music
Music was not so necessary in the film, totally two songs were there in the film which didn’t passed any big value there were 2 romantic songs and one BGM for Arjun Sarkaar Which was too good.

HIT 3 Ke Kirdar
Nani as Arjun Sarkaar – Nani as a violent, angry cop—what a transformation man! No flaws in acting. He totally deserved the Natural Star tag. He’s really a great actor. He was the producer of the previous two parts, but in The Third Case, he comes into the limelight and steals the whole limelight. He was absolutely amazing throughout the film. I had watched his previous film Hi Nanna—from a loving father to a violent cop, he transformed himself like a chameleon. The brutal action sequences were outstanding. What a fantastic actor Nani is.
Srinidhi Shetty as Mrudula – Srinidhi plays ASP Mrudula in HIT: The Third Case. Before this, we last saw her in KGF Chapter 2. She’s a good actress, and in HIT also, she did quite well. But her character wasn’t written properly. If she’s an ASP, then the writing should’ve matched the weight of the role. No flaws in her acting, but due to poor character writing, she didn’t get a chance to show much range. There are 2–3 action sequences of her that were really great, and they were shot really well too.
Prateik Babbar as Alpha CTK Member – His character is still a mystery because there wasn’t much revealed. He was just shown as a team lead, but the real owner of CTK is someone else. Prateik Babbar did quite well—better than his Sikandar performance. But we’re seeing him in the same typecasted roles again and again, doing the same dialogues like, “F@@k, you’re gone now.” “Sh**, you’re going to pay for it AJ.” Same repetitive stuff. He’s a good actor but he’s not getting any bigger or better roles.

Apart from this, major role was played by Nani in the movie. Also, shoutout to Komalee Prasad as Varsha she was in HIT: The Second Case as well, where she had a really nice role.
Also worth mentioning – Surya Srinivas as ACP Ravi ,Tisca Chopra as ADGP Kritika Ahuja, Samuthirakani as Arjun’s father ,Rao Ramesh as Nageswara Rao and others everyone quite well.
And yes—there’s an exciting cameo too. Do watch HIT: The Second Case if you want to understand the story even better. Even if you haven’t watched the previous parts, it’s okay—but it’s helpful for better understanding.
Overall, there weren’t any flaws in the case of acting.

Direction and Screenplay
The first half was totally engaging, building the thrill and grip perfectly. Totally paisa vasool it was. There were no flaws in the first half at all.
Director Dr. Sailesh Kolanu is a doctor in real life—he’s a psychological doctor. That’s why he keeps bringing such amazing ideas again and again. Directing the HIT franchise is clearly his passion, and he’s doing a fantastic job with it. The Bollywood remake starring Rajkummar Rao was also directed by him, and honestly, it was a good remake. Sadly, it stopped at just the first case.

But the Telugu industry is bringing —back-to-back HIT cases, and all 3 films in the franchise have been big hits.
Now talking about the second half—there were some boring scenes here and there. The film could have easily been trimmed by 15–20 minutes. Like that forest search scene—it felt very stretched. Overall, you’ll enjoy the second half too, but at the same time, you might feel bored in parts because the movie is too long. 2 hours 37 minutes is a very long runtime.

Brutality and Violence
The climax scene of Arjun Sarkaar was pure madness. If you loved Animal, Kill, or Marco, this climax scene is for you. The adrenaline rush in the last 20–25 minutes was crazy. The way the cinematographer shot all these scenes was commendable. The bloodshed, the bloodbath—it was all shown in a very detailed and raw way.
In fact, the audience was cheering during the climax. They were loving every moment, especially when Arjun comes with an axe in his hand. The film totally justifies its A-rated certificate. If you love violence, this film is definitely for you. The brutality in the climax was really next level. Honestly, the climax was my favorite part of the film.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal really changed everyone’s perspective on filmmaking, and the last sequence here clearly felt heavily inspired by Animal.

Difference from 1st and 2nd Case
The previous parts were mostly focused on thrill, grip and killings—especially the second part, it was outstanding. But in HIT: The Third Case, it was more of Nani’s brutality and anger. The story was there, no doubt. But first and second cases were better in terms of storytelling and thrill.

HIT – The Fourth Case
As per reports, the HIT franchise is going to have 7 cases in total. At the end of the third case, we saw Karthi entering the HIT universe as ACP Veerappan in HIT – The Fourth Case. His glimpse was enough to make the audience super curious about what’s coming next.
We’re definitely watching the fourth installment too!

Final Verdict
OCDTimes Rating – 3.5/5
Overall, it was a good film. I watched Raid 2, Retro, and Thunderbolts this weekend—but HIT: The Third Case was the best among all. It was engaging and gripping.
If you want, we’ll review Retro too. But in one line—Retro was really a headache.
Still, if you want a full review of Retro, tell us in the comments and we’ll post it for you!
