Tumbbad Ki Duniya
Raj & Dk’s are producing. a fantasy drama series on Netflix titled Rakht Brahmand which will be directed by the director of Tumbbad, Rahi Anil Barve. The series stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Wamiqa Gabbi. Expected to go on floors in August this year.
Toxic Couple
Tara Sutaria joins as the second love interest of Yash in Toxic. The film also features Kiara Advani as Yash’s first love interest alongside Nayanthara as Yash’s sister and Huma Qureshi in a negative role. The film has already gone on floors in June.
Bhooton Ki Duniya
Producer Dinesh Vijan has revealed that the script for Stree 3 has already been written. the next film in the MHCU (Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe) is titled Thama. More details will be revealed soon. There was no mention of Bhediya 2 or Vampires of Vijaynagar.
Dream Girl Combo Returns
Raaj Shaandilyaa and Ayushmann Khurrana are likely to reunite for a Hatke Comedy Entertainer (not Dream Girl 3). If everything falls into place, Ayushmann will start shooting for it after wrapping up his Untitled Spy Comedy with Karan Johar and MHCU’s Vampires of Vijaynagar.
The Dhadak Pair is Back
Karan Johar reunites with Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar for an untitled human emotional drama, along with Vishal Jethwa in a prominent role. To be directed by National Award winning director, Neeraj Ghaywan (Masaan).
Yami Gautam Dhuran’Dhar’ [Samachar This Week]
Yami Gautam has joined the cast of Aditya Dhar’s upcoming spy thriller titled Dhurandhar. The movie also boasts of a stellar cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R.Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal.

- First schedule for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai has been completed with Varun and Mrunal.
- Shooting for Son of Sardaar 2 has begun.

- Game Changer to now release on Christmas 2024.
- Shahid Kapoor starrer Deva postponed to Valentine’s Day 2025.
- Ghudchadi starring Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon to premiere on JioCinema from August 9.
- Teasers of Vicky Kaushal starter Chhaava and Akshay Kumar starrer Skyforce will be unveiled with Stree 2 on 15 August.
- Vikrant Massey teams up with Raees director Rahul Dholakia for a psychological thriller.
- Netflix documentary, Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli teaser is out. To be streamed from 2 Aug.
Hollywood and other International Samachar
- Deadpool and Wolverine all set for a massive opening worldwide and in India.
- The Russo Brothers are likely to return to the MCU to direct the next Avengers movies.
- Batman: Caped Crusader to stream on Amazon Prime from August 1.
