After a raging month of August that was filled with clashes, shockers and the industry possibly getting an All Time Grosser, we move to the month of September which has less releases in comparison but promises to be high on content.
Let’s take a look at all movies that will be releasing both theatrically and digitally in the ninth month of the year

1. The Greatest Of All Time (Movies)

GOAT will feature Thalapathy Vijay in a double role playing the role of father and the son. The plot revolves around Gandhi who is a hostage negotiator, field agent and spy working for the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad, where he works along with three others. The squad then regroups in future to address the problems which were caused from their previous actions.

2. Emergency
Release Date – 6th September (now postponed)

Directed by and starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead as Indira Gandhi, Emergency is based on true events that took place under the leadership of the politician in 1975. The movie was scheduled to release on 6th September, however it might get postponed as CBFC has not passed the film yet and various protests surrounding the movie.

3. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Following the events of the 1998 film Beetlejuice, The Deetz family returns to Winter River after a tragedy. Lydia’s daughter discovers a portal to the afterlife, summoning Beetlejuice, who unleashes chaos once more.

Set in Northern Kerala across the years 1900, 1950, and 1990, A.R.M is a Pan-India project that follows three generations of heroes Maniyan, Kunjikelu, and Ajayan as they strive to protect the land’s most vital treasure. A.R.M is also the 50th film of Tovino Thomas’ career.

The events of Tumbbad take place when a family builds a shrine for Hastar, a monster who is never to be worshipped, and attempts to get their hands on his cursed wealth. Their greed causes them to face catastrophic consequences. The movie was received extremely well by the audience during the initial release, but failed to perform well at the box office. It is expected to turn the tides with the re-release.
