3. Soorarai Pottru Remake

This untitled remake of Tamil classic Soorarai Pottru is produced by the lead actor of the original, Suriya himself and directed by Sudha Kongara, the same director as the original. Our Babu bhaiya, Paresh Rawal plays the same role he played in the original film. Basically, it is a replica of another film already available to all of us, in Hindi.

4. C. Shankaran Nair Biopic

5. Housefull 5

Housefull becomes the first Indian franchise to get 5 installments with only Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh confirmed as the leads, and the producer has confirmed that the film will have the biggest cast ever, almost all the actors from the previous franchises.
According to some rumours, Nadiadwala ke paas duniya bhar ka Paisa hai as the film’s budget is supposed to be around ₹350 Crore, more than films like Jawan, Pathaan and Tiger 3, that too for a comedy genre. Let’s just hope they put this money to good use.

The comedy film is going to be a remake of the 2016 Italian thriller Perfetti Sconosciuti or Perfect Strangers (In English). The film has been remade in multiple languages all around the world since it’s eternity, including Mohanlal’s 2022 Malayalam thriller 12th Man being inspired from it.
The original is based on a story of 7 friends sitting in 1 room who decide to display all their calls and messages to the whole room which leads to them revealing many of their secrets providing hilarious twists. If anything, the premise does tell that the remake would be a huge multistarrer and with a great director and a man like Akshay Kumar, it would be a delight to watch.

13. Jolly LLB 3

Out of all these upcoming films, 3 are confirmed (Housefull 5, Hera Pheri 3 and Awara Paagal Deewana 2) but have not gone into production. So they may take longer than others.
7 of them are set to release in 2024 – Soorarai Pottru Remake, BMCM, Sankaran Nair Biopic, Singham Again, Vedant Marathe Veer Daudle Saat, Welcome To The Jungle and if they stick to their timelines, Housefull 5 as well.
