House is getting Full

Welcome to Housefull! Sanjay Dutt has been officially announced as the latest addition to the Housefull franchise by Sajid Nadiadwala. After an exit from the Welcome franchise, Sanjay Dutt has landed into the Housefull Franchise. Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan have also been confirmed to be a part of the film. Housefull 5 is all set to go on floors in August this year.

King Khan vs Jr. Bachchan

You heard it right! Abhishek Bachchan is set to play the antagonist in SRK’s next film, King. He’ll be a sophisticated villain in this action-packed crime thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Additionally, there will be a multi-villain arc in the film. Film to go on floors in November this year.

Bhabhi 2 Ka Next Venture

Triptii Dimri is on a roll! She has been roped in for Tere Ishk Mein, the next film from the Raanjhanaa Universe. Tripti will play the leading lady alongside actor Dhanush in this romantic drama. The film is scheduled to start in October 2024 and will be filmed primarily in Varanasi and other parts of Uttar Pradesh over a two month period.

Highlights of the week

Barring these updates, there has been a lot of developments regarding various other projects as well.

1. Varun Dhawan’s next is titled Hai Jawani To Ishq Hona Hai.
   
2. Sarfira and Indian 2 take disastrous opening at the box office.
   
3. Kalki 2898AD crossed the milestone of 1000 crores globally at the box office.
   
4. Amazon Prime has renewed Mirzapur Season 4, preparations have begun.
   
5. After facing criticism, the makers of Indian 2 decided to trim 20 minutes from the film.
   
6. After the Indian franchise, director Shankar is planning to make a 3-part film on the book Velpari.

Shoots – Kya Shuru Kya Khatam

1. Jolly LLB 3 shoot has been completed.
   
2. Deva shoot wrapped, all set to release in theaters on 11th October 2024.

New Releases, Release Dates and Announcements

1. Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein trailers will be out on 18th July.
   
2. Vedaa trailer will be released on 26th July.
   
3. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba will stream on Netflix from 9th August 2024, the trailer will be out next week.
   
4. Ulajh and Raayan trailers out now.

Hollywood and other International Samachar

1. Captain America: Brave New World trailer is out now.
   
2. Despicable Me/Minons franchise has passed $5 billion at the box office.
   
3. Euphoria Season 3 filming begins in January 2025.
