Munna X Bhai – Chale Hollywood

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are set to feature in cameos in a big-budget Hollywood thriller. Both stars have flown to Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia, for a three-day shoot. This is exciting news for fans, and details about the venture will be announced soon. Due to an NDA, the stars are keeping the project under wraps for now.

Chhaava – Tsunami At Box Office

Chhaava is doing wonders at the box office. Chhaava will be considered the biggest opening and the biggest film for Vicky Kaushal till now. In just 3 days, Chhaava crosses 100Cr+ at the box office (India nett). In fact, Chhaava is unstoppable on weekdays also, earning more than 20Cr+ on Monday and Tuesday.

Aashiqui 3 Or Anurag Basu’s Next?

The much-anticipated Kartik Aaryan collaboration with Anurag Basu is finally happening. The teaser or first look of the untitled love story is out now, featuring Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela in leading roles. The film will also feature a remake of the famous song Tu Meri Zindagi Hai from Aashiqui (1989), sung by Vishal Mishra in the upcoming film. The film is scheduled to release on Diwali 2025.

Imtiaz Ali And His Love Stories

Avinash Tiwary and Aditi Rao Hydari to star in a love story which will be helmed by Imtiaz Ali. Arjun Rampal and Ahsaas Channa are also a part of this Netflix original series, which is titled O Saathi Rey.

Apart from this, Imtiaz is working on two more projects. One is a periodical love story featuring Naseeruddin Shah, Diljit Dosanjh, and Vedang Raina in key roles. After that, the other film is Idiots of Istanbul, which will be shot in Europe and India. It’s going to be an intense romance transitioning into a slice-of-life romantic comedy featuring Triptii Dimri and Fahadh Faasil in leading roles.

A6 on Dilemma

Last Monday, news came out that Atlee 6, the Salman Khan starrer, is being made on a budget of 500 cr as it is a period reincarnation drama. However, the very next day, reports surfaced that the movie has been shelved. As of now, there is no official confirmation, but strong rumors suggest that the project has been dropped.

Highlights of the week

Barring these updates, there has been a lot of developments regarding various other projects as well.

  1. Chhaava unstoppable at the box office, earning more than ___ crores worldwide gross collection.
  2. Sanam Teri Kasam re-release earned 36 crore Indian nett collection in just 10 days, setting the highest record for any re-release.
  3. Ram Charan in talks with Kill fame director Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt.
  4. Atlee 6 is not happening because Jio Studios and Sun Pictures are not willing to fund the film.
  5. The Housefull 5 will be attached to Salman Khan’s Sikandar, releasing on Eid.
  6. Alia Bhatt is in talks with Kalki director Nag Ashwin for a new project. The genre isn’t revealed yet, but if everything goes well, it will begin before Kalki 2.
  7. Pushpa 2 earned 1871 crores worldwide gross collection.
  8. Harshvardhan Rane collaborating with Milap Zaveri for his next film titled Deewaniyat.
  9. Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg announce Vadh 2.
  10. There are rumors that Shraddha Kapoor might have a special song in War II.
  11. As per reports, Jr. NTR is going to play a character called Veerendra Raghunath in War II.
  12. Toxic is being filmed in English and Kannada languages to ensure a broader reach.
  13. Excel Entertainment’s Ground Zero, starring Emraan Hashmi, will be releasing on 25th April (tentative).

  1. Tere Ishk Mein shoot is currently happening at Sri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi.
  2. Kerala schedule wrapped for Param Sundari.
  3. Dhamaal 4 filming will begin next month.
  4. Dhurandhar will be wrapped up by February end.
  5. Sunny Deol has begun filming for Border 2 in Jhansi.
