Tiger Shroff joins Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe

Tiger Shroff is the latest addition to Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. Will join the ranks of Ajay Devgn (Singham), Akshay Kumar (Sooryavanshi), Ranveer Singh (Simmba) and Deepika Padukone.

Tiger’s Role

Tiger Shroff will be introduced as a new cop in ‘Singham Again’. It will be a cameo appearance. Much like Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, Tiger Shroff’s character name will also start with the letter ‘S’ and he too will have his own distinct identity in the cop universe with traits unique to his own personality.

It was earlier reported that this role was first offered to Vicky Kaushal. But his schedule was clashing with ‘Chhava’, so he had to let go. The same day, news broke out that the role is now offered to Tiger Shroff. Rumour is, that this character will be Singham’s younger brother. But it’s only a rumour as of now.

Shoot Schedule

The first schedule will begin by September end/Early October with Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh. Tiger Shroff has a combination of dates with Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi. He will join the trio for a short 6 to 7-day period.

Apart from these combination dates, Tiger will also be shooting for his personality entry sequence for ‘Singham Again’.

Future

As per a source, Tiger Shroff has some solo portions too in the film, which will eventually lead to the core conflict. He has allotted 12 days for the shoot (7 in combination with the trio and 5 for his solo) and is ready for more as well, as and when Rohit Shetty demands.

Later, Tiger will feature in his own solo film in this universe.

‘Singham Again’, is the fifth film in the Rohit Shetty Cop Universe and will now feature 5 lead ops in the franchise. It is not known whether the Amazon Prime series ‘Indian Police Force starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi, will be part of this universe. Rohit Shetty has also hinted that he wants to include Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey in this universe.

Singham Again is expected to go on floors in the next 2 months and is slated to hit the big screen during the Independence Day weekend. Singham Again is presently in the pre-production stage and the action prep will begin in August.
