Trailer Overview
Jolly LLB 3 trailer was nice, and promises a good film, but the overall flow of the trailer failed to create the impact that the teaser did.
The Length
3 minute ka trailer hi kyu banana tha? Kis kitab mein likha hai itna bada trailer banao jab itne time se sab complain kar rahe hain ki lambe trailers nahi kaam kar rahe? Sabse badi dikkat ho jati hai lambe trailers mein flow manage karne ki, aur dusri dikkat plot reveal ki.
Jolly LLB 3 trailer mein plot reveal toh nahi hua kuch khas par flow ki band baja di. Aao aage discuss karte hain.
Lack of Comedy
I praised the teaser so much, then what went wrong?
One thing is that before this, ALL the promos were full of comedy, while the trailer took a different turn. Suddenly sad drama dikhane ka koi meaning nahi tha yaha. If you see, the same fight scenes that happened in the teaser with a comedic approch, having a fun backgroudn music, was replaced here with the dramatic music. Kyu bhai?
Plot Reveal
Nahi aisa kuch bahaut khas reveal nahi kiya hai, manta hu. Par soch ke dekho, agar ye dramatic part na hi dikhate trailer mein, toh kuch jata inka? Koi loss ho jata toh batao. Humne pichli dono movies mein cases enjoy kiye hain na, hume pata hai kuch substantial leke ate hain, toh itna detail mein focus karna zaruri tha trailer mein? Jaise wo starting ka voiceover of dada, pitaji, beta… There was no point of that.
Socho zara kuch na pata hota toh theatre mein experience kitna alag hota. Fresh dekhte feel hi alag hoti. Ab toh kitna kuch pata hai ki minister, kisaan ki zameen, pitai, atyachar, dono jolly kis side se ladenge aur obviously end mein Akshay side badal lega kyuki wo galat side se lad raha hota hai.
Ye pura part na dikhate trailer mein toh aur curiosity jagti audience ke mann mein. Iss drama ko dikhane ke chakkar mein they even compromised on the comedy part of the trailer. Who’s genius idea was this?
What We Know
- Both Jolly are in the same court/premises.
- Jolly name creates confusion for others.
- Akshay has a chamber, means more izzat, while Arshad does not.
- Gajrao Rao is corrupt minister.
- He gives job to Jolly at high salary ki pata hai gareeb aur lalchi hai bik jayega.
- Seema Biswas is the victim who is represented by Arshad Warsi.
- Ek bar Arshad Warsi aur Seema Biswas ko peeta bhi jata hai.
- The case affects the personal lives of the two Jollys.
- Judge ke sath comedy scenes.
- Akshay would later realize he is fighting for the wrong side.
- Akshay probably joins Arshad Warsi.
- Ram Kapoor becomes the lawyer from Gajraj Rao’s side.
- These are the things we could determine from the trailer. Maybe few things may not turn out to be true, but aisa laga.
What We Don’t Know
Amrita Rao and huma Qureshi ko zyada nahi dikhaya.
Saurabh Shukla ke sath funny court scenes reveal nahi kiye.
Dono Jolly ke investigations mein kya hota hai reveal nahi kiye.
Minister ki exact fault kya hai? Zameen hadapna kya kuch aur?
Wo bakri ka kya role hai?
Climax ka hint nahi diya, jo kaafi films mein pata chal jata hai. Jaise War 2 mein pata tha last one-on-one fight hogi ice cave mein.
Final Thoughts
Film looks rich. We know it will have both comedy and a good court case, jo dono previous films mein tha. Dono cases ki proceedings comedic thi lekin problem/crime genuine and relatable. Relatable se I mean, we know such things happen, newspapers mein toh ata hi hai, bhale tv wali media ajkal na dikhaye sab kuch. Ye bhi waisa hi lag raha hai.
So film definitely acchi hogi, bas wo trailer is not something that left me on a high. Teasers and promos were good. Trailer ka approach bhi waisa hi rakhna tha, aur case ko theatre mein reveal karke surprise karna tha.
Chalo ab jo hai so hai. Milte hain 19 September ko. Case no 1-7-2-2, Jolly vs Jolly.
