Krrish 4 This Summer?

As per reports, Karan Malhotra has worked extensively on the script for Krrish 4, with Hrithik Roshan actively contributing this time. Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik Roshan, and Karan Malhotra are set to begin shooting the much-anticipated superhero film in summer 2025. The shoot will take place in India and parts of Europe, according to sources.

Jungli Billi in Jungle Adventure

Priyanka Chopra is gearing up for her biggest comeback as director SS Rajamouli has locked her for his upcoming jungle adventure film starring Mahesh Babu in the lead role. Tentatively titled SSMB9, the movie will be shot across multiple locations, including India, Australia, America, and African forests. The film is expected to hit theatres in 2027.

Rowdy Rathore 2 Without Vikram Rathore?

Recently, reports came out that the sequel to Rowdy Rathore is in the works. Producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali is collaborating with Kannada director Prem for this venture, and both are currently working on the script. If everything goes well, the shooting will start by the end of 2025. Casting isn’t finalized yet, and sources say it might feature a young actor or even be a two-hero film.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri

Kartik Aaryan is reportedly getting paid ₹50 Cr for his role in this romantic comedy film, with an expected budget of ₹150 Cr. This will be his third collaboration with Dharma Productions, after the previous two films, which were shelved. The film is being directed by Sameer Vidwans (Satyaprem Ki Katha).

Highlights of the week

Barring these updates, there has been a lot of developments regarding various other projects as well.

1. Baby John gets a disaster tag at the box office, grossing only 32 Cr. All the shows initially given to Baby John are now being allotted to the Malayalam industry’s hit, Marco.
   
2. Marco did an excellent business at the box office and currently stands at 70 Cr. It’s getting an amazing response in the Hindi language as well, and hence the exhibitors have increased the screens.
   
3. Pushpa 2 is soon to cross 1800 Cr gross collection, having earned 1170 Cr nett.
   
4. Marco Hindi GCC release is set for 1st January (Hindi release in international markets).
   
5. More than 500 shows have been added for Marco in Hindi and also in other languages all over India after Baby John failed to draw in audience.
   
6. Sujoy Ghosh has revived crime thriller drama with Shahid Kapoor after exiting King. This film was initially planned in 2021.
   
7. Deva has received a U/A 16+ certification from CBFC, with a runtime of 2 hours, 36 minutes, and 53 seconds.

5. Abir Gulal Shooting Wrapped Entirely Shot In London in 37 Days looking for a Summer 2025 Release.

1. Salman Khan’s Sikandar teaser out now
   
2. Loveyapa releases in theatres on 8th February 2025
   
3. All We Imagine As Light will be streaming On Disney+Hotstar from 3rd January
   
4. Identity Starring Tovino Thomas eeleases in theatres this Friday

Hollywood and other International Samachar

1. Squid Game Season 3, will stream in 2025, date not announced yet.
   
2. The Batman has been delayed by 1 year. Will now release on 1st October 2027.
   
3. Jason Momoa joins the cast of Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow as Lobo.
