Mass Incoming!!

Kisne hi socha tha ki Salman X Rajni dekhne ko milega? Atlee is trying to bring these superstars from the north and south together in one frame. If this happens, this movie will definitely create havoc at the box office. Some reports say it’s a two-hero film while some say Rajinikanth is expected to play the negative character in the film. Either way, this is a dream collaboration for many fans.

Stree, Bhediya, Munjya aur ab Vampire

According to reports, after Stree 2, the next movie in Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) will be Vampires of Vijay Nagar starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. It will be directed by the director of Munjya – Aditya Sarpotdar. The team is aiming to begin the filming in November.

Welcome to Bollywood – Sreeleela

Sreeleela will be seen as the second leading lady in Varun and David Dhawan’s next film with his father , alongside Mrunal Thakur. This will be the fourth collaboration of Varun and David Dhawan after Main Tera Hero, Judwaa 2 and Coolie No. 1. The film will be an out-and-out comedy with an original script. Filming is expected to begin in July 2024.

Badi Films Bade Nuksaan

According to reports, after a string of consecutive box office disasters with films like Bell Bottom, Mission Raniganj, Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, producers Jackky and Vashu Bhagnani had to sell the 7 floor Pooja Entertainment office in Mumbai in order to clear the debt of 250 crore. Reportedly, Vashu Bhagnani has laid down 80% of the staff as well and Pooja Entertainment will be cutting down on it’s operations. However, the producers have denied the claim stating that the building is in redevelopment.

Highlights of the week

Barring these updates, there has been a lot of developments regarding various other projects as well.

1. Maharaja did an excellent job at the box office, earned 81.8 crores in just 10 days.
   
2. Ishq Vishk Rebound collected 5 crores in its first 5 days..
   
3. Chandu Champion failed to pass the second Monday test at the box office.
   
4. Munjya crossed 100 crores gross at the box office, becoming the unexpected blockbuster of the year.
   
5. Nadiadwala Grandson released the second trailer of Chandu Champion 10 days after the film’s release.

Shoots – Kya Shuru Kya Khatam

1. War 2: Hrithik Roshan and JR NTR are shooting a massive speed boat chase sequence.
   
2. Ramesh Taurani confirmed that Race 4 will happen. He also mentioned that currently he’s working on sequel of Bhoot Police. 
   
3. Sunny Deol has started shooting for his first pan-Indian film with Pushpa producers Mythri Movie Makers, titled “SDGM”. Saiyami Kher will play a key role in the film, which is directed by Gopichand Malineni
   
4. Pre-production for SRK’s “King” has started, and the film will go live on floors by August 2024.

New Releases, Release Dates and Announcements

1. Kangana Ranaut’s “Emergency” gets a release date and is all set to hit theaters on 6th September 2024
   
2. Indian 2 Trailer Out Now.
   
3. Pill series starring Riteish Deshmukh will stream on Jio Cinema from 12th July 2024
   
4. Kakuda, starring Riteish Deshmukh, Saqib Saleem, and Sonakshi Sinha, will stream on Zee5 from 12th July 2024.
   
5. Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha jukebox out now. 
   
6. Wild Wild Punjab trailer out now, and the movie is set to stream on Netflix from 10th July.
   
7. Bad Newz trailer will be released this Friday
   
8. Raayan, written and directed by Dhanush, will release in theaters on 26th July 2024.
   

Hollywood and other International Samachar

1. Inside Out 2 becomes the highest grossing film of 2024.
   
2. THE BATMAN 2 will begin filming in early 2025.
