69 Million Pounds Ke Maalik Papa Ranjit
Trailer Overview
The job of the trailer is to give an intro into the world of the movie and excite the audience enough to make them buy tickets. Well, Housefull 5 trailer does that. But because it’s a review, let’s get into the details.

Trailer Cut
it was all going very well up to 2 minutes and then it felt drag. there was no need to show this much. Not saying in terms of plot this time. It was fine in that sense. But trailer cutting is an art and keeping the audience hooked, keeping it interesting and leaving them on a high is what makes trailers stand out.
They had a chance to make it one of the best trailers that people would remember for long. But some genius decided otherwise so here we are.

Comedy
Looks mad fun. Feels like we are gonna get a great comedy movie after a long time. Almost all jokes are working for me. they don’t seem forced. Are some dialogues written by Farhad Samji? He was seen with the cast in London, but I’m not sure.
Akshay Kumar seems to be doing most of the comedy in the trailer. I hope there are a lot more from the other cast members. Chhoti Bacchi by Jaggu Dada was unexpected, lol. I’m excited for this.
It may be the case that the comedy does not work for some people. It’s very normal, people can have different perspectives over the same piece of art. My opinion is based on the previous Housefull films, low expectations and general fun they offer. So please don’t fight with strangers on the internet over this.

Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar is in the zone!!! Post-pandemic I was very much not liking Akshay Kumar and complaining that he is just saying his lines and not acting. But since the last year he is back in performances. His recent films have not earned too much for whatever reason, but if you look at his effort as an actor and the overall film, we are getting quality stuff. Kam log dekhein par jo dekhe wo khush ho, toh usse better kya ho sakta hai. If Housefull 5 is more entertaining than the trailer, I think he will be back with a bang with this film.

Too Much Nostalgia?
Sequels and franchises always have a bit of nostalgia, a bit of relatability with the previous films. But isme thoda zyada nahi ho gaya?
Housefull 1 – Monkey slap scene
Housefull 2 – Papa Toh Band Bajaye, Teri Biwi Meri Biwi, Multiple Jolly, Papa Ranjit, Ayaeeh
Housefull 3 – 5 out of 6 Male-Female Leads
36 China Town – Comedy with Murder Mystery
Hulchul – Behosh/Dead Ke Peeche Se Hath Nikalna
Entertainment – Dead Father Ki Inheritance Ke Liye Multiple Candidates
And this is when I’m not even trying to nitpick. It’s just out there in the trailer. God know how many more will be in the film. Seems like they planned it like that, ki purani cheese dalo, nostalgia ke naam pe hi audience ko cheezein pasand ati hain.

Final Thoughts
Overall, all songs have been interesting, so that part has no issues. The film definitely looks fun. The general audience might not even find any problems with the trailer, but I need to do a deeper analysis as a reviewer, haina?
