Trailer Cut
A very balanced cut. Not too much length, not too much footage and definitely does not looks like its big enough to be a trailer. They have chosen not to put any dialogues, like many teasers do. Just a monologue of the heroine which sets the mood, the world of the film. A good creative choice.
The teaser also gives a glimpse of the music, which is always the heart of a Mohit Suri film.
The Debutants
Ahaan Panday looks promising. Gave me the Ahan Shetty vibes from Tadap. Aneet Padda is very beautiful. I like her voice too. Both seem to have good chemistry. Rest we can talk about after watching the film.
Music
Mohit Suri has always been known to have great music in his films. This one does not give out a lot but feels promising for sure. Even when I posted about this movie on social media, people commented about expecting a great album. So that feeling is common among all.
Too Many Love Stories?
There has been a fatigue of action movies, and now June and July is coming with new stuff. We have Housefull 5, Sitaare Zameen Par and Maa in June. We have Saiyaara and Param Sundari in July, along with Superman, Fantastic Four and Jurassic Park from Hollywood. Thode different genres dekhne milenge maza ayega.
This year many love stories are there – Saiyaara, Param Sundari, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Dhadak 2, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, Thama (MHCU is love story at core), Aashiqui 3 (or whatever name they give the film), and maybe a few more that I’m forgetting.
Beautiful Frames
The film has been shot very well. There are so many aesthetic shots with this small teaser. The film must offer more. So it should be a visual treat in the theatres. We the film too needs to be good other wife it will just be beautiful shots without a soul.
