Salman Khan took a five-day break from work after his close friend, Baba Siddique, was tragically killed by the Bishnoi gang. The gang has made clear threats against Salman Khan, stating they won’t spare him due to the Blackbuck case, and they are targeting those close to him.
Previously, the Bishnoi gang killed Siddu Moose Wala in 2022. In an interview, Lawrence Bishnoi even declared his intent to kill Salman Khan. In April 2024, the gang fired shots at Salman’s residence in Bandra, and now they have killed his dearest friend, Baba Siddique, a former chief minister of Maharashtra, despite his high-level security.
Due to these ongoing threats, Salman Khan’s security has been significantly increased. Bodyguards now accompany him wherever he goes, ensuring his safety at all times.
New Death Threat
The Mumbai Traffic Police said that they received a threatening message via WhatsApp on Thursday, demanding ₹5 crore from actor Salman Khan to resolve enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi.
The message said, “Don’t take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay ₹5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique,” revealed Mumbai Police.
Ram Gopal Varma On This Issue
Renowned director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) tweeted about the issue, suggesting that the “Tiger of Bollywood,” Salman Khan, should respond with a serious and powerful threat to Lawrence Bishnoi.
RGV further drew comparisons to fictional plotlines and said, “LAWRENCE BISHNOI seems to be more of an ANIMAL than Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Ranbir Kapoor,” referring to Ranbir Kapoor’s character in Animal, which was a film about revenge.
Sikandar Shoot Resumes Next Week
A source close to Salman Khan and movie Sikandar revealed that shooting of Sikandar will be resumed soon with heavy security around the sets. The people on the sets also got reduced. Salman Khan didn’t want the shoot to be halted, that’s why he started shooting for Sikandar quickly. The intensive measure has been increased, and who’s stepping into the sets are getting checked.
The filming was previously scheduled to conclude within November or December. However, it may now stretch to January.
Bigg Boss Shoot Continues
Salman khan to shoot Bigg Boss 18’s Weekend Ka Vaar under tight security. No one is allowed to stop or. linger near the set. All personnel working on the set have to provide their details to the production house.
Chulbul Pandey’s May Not Appear In Singham Again?
Currently, Salman Khan is very busy taking care of Baba Siddique’s family and shooting for Sikandar and Bigg Boss. He recently completed his cameo shoot for Varun Dhawan’s Baby John.
Pinkvilla confirmed that Salman Khan will be reprising his role as Chulbul Pandey in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, as Chulbul is set to join Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. However, due to the recent incident, Salman is shooting slowly and with limited crew members. Singham Again is scheduled to release in theaters on November 1, and with only 13 days left, it is becoming increasingly difficult for Salman to shoot his cameo. As a result, the cameo may be canceled. Hopefully, we will see Salman as Chulbul in future projects alongside Singham, Simba, and Sooryavanshi.
Salman’s Next?
After wrapping up Sikandar, Salman will begin preparations for Atlee 6, where fans can expect to see Kamal Haasan as the antagonist. Atlee 6 is going to be an Anirudh musical. Following that, Salman has Kick 2 and a cop film with Rohit Shetty tentatively lined up.
