Team Pathaan In King

Siddharth Anand is directing Shah Rukh Khan again in King. The Pathaan director stepped in after Sujoy Ghosh exited the project three weeks ago due to conflicts with producer Siddharth Anand. Sujoy realized this was no longer the project he had initially planned, as the scale kept getting bigger, so he decided to leave.

Bhai Ka Comeback?

Sikandar, the much-anticipated film of Salman Khan, is releasing on Eid 2025. The teaser has been certified with a U/A 13+ certificate by CBFC, and the duration of the teaser is 1 minute 45 seconds. It is all set to release on the Megastar’s birthday, 27th December. As per reports, Salman will be having a massy sequence in the teaser, wearing a mask.

Orry In Love & War

Orry will play a supporting role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, portraying Alia’s homosexual friend. Apart from this

Naya Prem

Ayushmann Khurrana is on a roll, bagging back-to-back projects. Recently, reports came out that Sooraj Barjatya has signed Ayushmann for his next family entertainer. The female lead casting is still in progress, and the movie is scheduled to go on floors in the first quarter of 2025. Previously, this role was supposed to be played by Kartik Aaryan.

Highlights of the week

Barring these updates, there has been a lot of developments regarding various other projects as well.

1. Baby John Released In Theatres Today (Review Out Soon!!)
   
2. Unstoppable Rappa Rappa at the box office! Pushpa 2 has crossed a ₹1600 Cr+ worldwide gross collection at the box office and ₹700 Cr+ nett in Hindi.
   
3. As per reports, Kartik Aaryan will be doing a remake of Nani’s Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, tentatively titled Saturday Star. However, it’s not confirmed yet.
   
4. Pooja Hegde is set to play the leading lady in Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 4.
   
5. An extended cut of Pushpa 2 will be releasing in theatres today, featuring 20 minutes of extra footage that was originally trimmed before the release.
   
6. In an interview, Prashanth Neel mentioned that Salaar 2 will be the biggest film of his career.
   
7. Salman Khan confirmed that the scripting for Kick 2 is going on, and it will be made for sure.
   
8. Wamiqa Gabbi and Tabu have joined the cast of Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla.
   
9. Akshay Kumar will collaborate with Milan Lutharia for an action thriller film, bankrolled by Marflix.
   
10. Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan are collaborating for an ad film, which will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
    

Shoots – Kya Shuru Kya Khatam

1. Border 2 shooting has begun with Sunny Deol, and the supporting cast will be joining them very soon.
   
2. War 2 has been wrapped up and is all set for an Independence Day 2025 release.

New Releases, Release Dates and Announcements

1. Paatal Lok Season 2 will be streaming on Prime Video from 17th January.
   
2. The trailer for Fateh is out now.
   
3. SkyForce trailer will be releasing on 3rd January 2025.
   
4. Param Sundari motion poster is out now, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor in leading roles, set to release in theatres on 25th July 2025.
   
5. Azad Hai Tu music video from Azaad is out now.
   
6. Beast Mode by Raja Kumari from Baby John is out now.
   
7. Dhop from Game Changer is out now.

Hollywood and other International Samachar

1. Christopher Nolan’s next film is an adaption of ‘THE ODYSSEY’
   
2. First teaser for Zero Day, starring Robert De Niro, Angela Bassett, Dan Stevens, Jesse Plemons and Connie Britton is out now! The series releases on February 20 on Netflix.
