Sunai De Raha Hai Behra Nahi Hu Main
Review ke pehle ek warning- This will be full of spoilers so if you haven’t watched Kanguva yet then skip directly to the verdict section! Now with that spoiler warning let’s begin this review.
Kanguva Ki Kahaani
Typical wahi reincarnation wali kahaani hai. Kuch aisa khaas nahi hai hai story mai. Movie past aur future ke beech jump karti rehti hai, where the future portions are outright cringe. Past mai inhone story lore add karke weight dene ki koshish ki hai par vo bhi poor writing ke kaaran kaafi dull aur uninteresting lagta hai. Story bhi wahi predictable beats pe chalti rehti hai jaisa baaki reincarnation wali movies chalti hain. Wahi past ka kuch yaad na aana fir kuch hota hai aur yaadasht aa jati hai, bas ismai ek kaafi absurd tareeke se sci-fi element add kia hai jo mere liye toh work nahi kiya.
Kanguva Ke Kirdaar
I have a lot of respect for Suriya as an actor, he tries very hard in this movie as well ki jaise taise isey bacha le par unfortunately nahi ho pata hai. Movie ka screenplay aur writing itni ghatiya hai ki Suriya ka performance bhi ise nahi bacha pata and the worst thing is ki director ne kuch scenes mein unse bhi overacting karwa li.
Baaki, Bobby Deol ko kaafi buri tarah se waste kar diya hai movie mai. Mushkil se 20-25 min ka screentime hoga unka but like Animal, memorable nahi ban paata unka character. Baaki Disha Patani toh bas naam ke liye hi thi aur Yogi Babu ko bhi waste hi kiya hai. Now coming to the most irritating aspect of the movie – vo bache ka character (Zeta & Poruva) not saying anything to the child actors here, par bhai kya annoying character tha wo. Uske liye kabhi bhi mann mai care wali feeling aati hi nahi hai.
Chilla Chilla Ke Scheme Batana
Bhai this was a torturous movie to sit through. Puri movie mai log bas chillaye jaa rahe hai aur uske upar Devi Sri Prasad ka loud BGM. Kasam se, movie agar 10 min aur chalti toh mai behera bann ke bahar aata. Matlab kya tha bhai yeh ekdum sar dukha diya. Already tumhare screenplay aur storytelling mein dum nahi hai kam se kam presentation toh dhang ka rakho. Bas puri movie mein chillaye pade hai bina kisi reason ke.
Zero Emotional Impact
Another proof of poor writing in this movie. Ek bhi scene tumhe emotionally kuch feel hi nahi karata hai. Pure time tum movie se disconnected rehte ho aur wait karte ho ki bhai yeh torture kab khatam hoga. Yahi nahi, movie ki comedy writing bhi utni hi bekaar hai. Memes ghusa rakhe hai comedy ke naam pe movie mein wo bhi saalo puraane.
The Boys ka meme daal diya, Moye Moye baja diya hahahaha bahaut funny kar diya, haso ab. Na kisi character ke taraf liking develop hoti hai na kisiki death pe koi bhi farak padta hai. Bas movie chali jaa rahi hai aur hum sehte jaa rahe hain. Baaki action mein bhi kuch khaas nahi hai waise, ek do cool shots hai idhar udhar par staging mein fault kar jaate hain.
Kuch Achhi Baatein
Movie puri khatam hone ke alawa bhi movie mein kuch achhi baatein hain. Jaise movie ka 3D bahaut achha hai unlike some other movies jo 3D ke naam pe bas extra paisa kamati hain. VFX aur CGI bhi largely badhiya hi tha. Bas kuch jagah keying issues the thode aur render problems bhi noticeable the along with few low polly models.
Wo unnecessary crocodile fight jo dikhai hai uske VFX-CGI achhe hain. Baaki cinematography bhi pyaari hai, movie dikhne mai rich lagti hai. Kharch kiya hua paisa dikh raha hai. Production design bhi badhiya laga. Bas achhi baatein yahi khatam hoti hain.
Verdict & Rating
Overall, Kanguva ne mujhe torture hi kiya hai. Bematlab ka chillana, kharab screenplay, ghatiya storytelling aur cringe comedy, wo sab jo ek hi movie mein nahi hona chahiye, wo sab ismein hai. Baaki visually movie achhi hai bas aur Suriya ka performance bhi achha tha. Bas Suriya se ek sawaal hai – kya majboori thi sir? Kyu ki yeh movie? Baaki, main toh suggest nahi karunga ki yeh movie dekho. Action lover ho toh bhi disappoint hi hoge aur drama with lore expect kar rahe ho toh waha bhi nirasha hi milegi. Bas dikhne mein movie achhi hai.
